Description
Collector's replica. Curved back-edged blade (stained, head scarred) with hollow grind on both sides. At the blade root etched on both sides the crowned cipher “FWR” (worn). On the back of the blade the maker's signature “Schimmelbusch & Joest in Solingen”. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with heart-shaped guard, Cross at the pommel, imitated later stamps. Black leather scabbard, stitched on the reverse with sewn-in brass chape and suspension hook. Signs of use and age. Length 82 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
