Description
Curved, single-edged blade (stained, pitted in places, notched) with fullers on both sides. Etched on both sides at the ricasso with the crowned cipher “FWR”. Brass stirrup hilt with a heart-shaped guard plate; the latter is stamped on the narrow edge (on the *quarte* side) with “802. 3. B. 29. L.R.”. Black leather scabbard (cracks, areas of loss, seam partially open, repairs) with an integrated drag featuring a brass carrying hook; the drag itself is missing. Partially damaged; shows distinct signs of use and age. Length 80 cm.Condition: III Questions about the lot?
