Description

Field belt with fire-gilded brass lock (abraded, darkened) with a pinned cipher “W” below crown, brown leather strap with leather tongue, two sliders and counterpart (overall length including lock approx. 105 cm), in a round box. Also contained in the box (with tears): a Prussian officer's sash (metal fittings missing), a portepee with leather band (darkened, heavily abraded), an older portepee fragment (band torn, incomplete) and a silver aiguillette. Partly incomplete, damaged, Signs of age and wear.
