Description

A Prussian line eagle for enlisted men of embossed brass sheet (threaded bolt repositioned, traces of soldering). Two embossed Bavarian helmet emblems of brass sheet, one with an applied reserve cross of nickel silver. A slender silver-plated nickel silver spike (removable) on plate. A fluted brass spike (traces of gilding). A nickel silver cross finial. Two silver-plated rails. Also includes an unidentified griffin emblem of brass (period uncertain). Slightly damaged in places, distinct signs of wear and age.
