Description

Rectangular shape; all sides made of bird's-eye maple. The mounts on both the lid and the base are made of pinned silver, bearing an "800" fineness mark (with crescent moon and crown) on the underside; four silver feet in the form of flattened spheres. A silver inscription reading "Wilhelm I.R." is riveted to the lid. Dimensions: 18.5 x 10 x 6.2 cm. The silver is tarnished; otherwise, the piece is in very fine condition.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
