Description

Lidded top in dark blue wool cloth (superficial moth damage, upper edge slightly stained), red piping, red band (small holes), lacquered sheet iron cockades, lacquered peak (craquelures, heat damage). Ochre-coloured oilcloth lining with silver imprint “Uniform-Mützenfabrik A. Lang Darmstadt”, glued-in wearer's label “Gardist / Günther II. / 6. Company”, ochre-coloured leather sweatband. Also includes a contemporary hat box (edges open) by “Phil. Lorenz Hoflieferant Darmstadt”. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age and wear.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
