Description

Shaft of hollow, blued steel tube (rubbed, traces of rust, zaponied) with a central hemp sleeve cover delimited by brass rings, four mounting studs for the pennant and solid square-section blade (stamp “W 93” beneath a crown, gothic acceptance mark). Lance flag of stitched blue and yellow linen cloth (small holes), finely stamped at the base “B.A.X. 1910” and “H:R.17. 1913 5.Esk II”. Signs of age and use. Length approx. 320 cm.
