Description

Slender blade with flattened central ridge, the upper half with gilt decorative etching on a blued background, engraved maker's mark “Jos. Reiss in Munich”. Silver-plated knuckle-bow hilt with relief decor, Lion's head pommel and a couchant lion on the guard. Nacre grips with applied crowned cartouche “M”. Leather scabbard with silver-plated mountings, the locket stippled “Reiss Munich”. Length ca. 93 cm.
