Description

Basket-hilt swords featuring openwork heraldic lions, lacking a folding guard flap, and fitted with dark synthetic grips. One is an issue piece (marked "L 15" by F.W. Höller, Solingen), and the other is a private purchase piece (inscribed "In memory of my service – 5th Royal Bavarian Chevau-léger Regiment Archduke Albrecht of Austria"). Each with surface rust, overpainted, lengths circa 97 cm.
