Description
Black-lacquered leather skull (rough surface, signs of heat damage on the rear visor) with a round front visor and fittings made of nickel silver and non-ferrous metal. Small coat-of-arms emblem on the front, secured by leather wedges. Disc, with four round-headed split pins and a smooth, rigid tip. Flat, leather-lined scale chains on button 91; both metal cockades are missing. Good black leather lining, stamped several times inside the skull ("Hans Römer Neu-Ulm 1915", size "57").
