Description
Steel cuirass breastplate and backplate (traces of rust), brass rivets along the edges, deep proof mark beside the central ridge, two leather-backed brass scale straps, lining of coarse natural-colored cloth (partially detached from the edge) containing an internal pocket at the chest; waist strap torn on one side. The breastplate is stamped on the side with "AA 1132" and "GF" (Amberg), a crown, and "Z"; the backplate is marked on the side with "AA 1710", a crown, and "Z".
