Description

Double-edged, slightly curved blade of biconvex cross-section (pitting in places, traces of rust), the upper half with arabic inscriptions on one side and the Sultan's tughra with Star and crescent on the opposite side, below a year. Relief brass grip and scabbard en suite. The longitudinal centre seam of the scabbard open in places, traces of soldering. Signs of wear and age. Total length with scabbard 36 cm.
