Description
Double-grooved, sharpened back blade (stained, pitted, reground) with a double-edged tip (rounded), no discernible stamps. Brass hilt with a diagonally ribbed wooden grip (minor losses and black retouched lacquer), the acceptance stamp “A” and the Cyrillic maker's mark (worn over) of the Zlatoust arms factory on the lower brass ferrule, 1916 (?). Wooden scabbard covered with black fabric with brass fittings (the retaining clip of the chape is missing) and inserted bayonet (pitted with rust). Partially damaged, signs of use and age.
