Description
Madder-red cap for enlisted men of the cavalry, made of madder-red cloth, smooth nickel-plated buttons, rosette (“FJI”) of brass, orange silk lining, cream-coloured leather sweatband. Together with an officer's cap of fine black cloth, black lacquered peak (crazed), golden flat cord with black interweaves, smooth nickel-plated buttons, rosette of golden weave with the cipher “FJI”, black silk lining (2mm hole and adhesive residue), black leather sweatband (torn rear seam).
