Description
Body of white wool cloth with a slightly stiffened square top. Trimmed with gilded, black-interwoven cord. Lower border edged all around with black sheepskin. To the front a plume ornament (replacement) of a long grey-brown feather with yellow-black base, inserted in a socket of gilded, black-interwoven metal braid. Lined in fine light cloth on a black leather sweatband (cracked, rubbed). Signs of wear and age. Well-preserved and very rare.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
