Description
Soft body covered in black lambskin, stiffened top, red cloth bag (partly faded), well-restored cord decoration (“Vitéz Kötés”) of yellow wool interwoven in black. A well-restored feather ornament of a long greyish-brown feather with a black and yellow base, set in a holder made of yellow wool interwoven with black. Lining of fine brown cloth (slightly stained) attached to a black leather sweatband (craquelures, small cracks, rubbed). Signs of wear and age. Rare, as the Austrian hussars wore the kutsma for only a few years.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
