Description
Nickel-plated single-edged blade with fullers on both sides (stained), the Solingen knight's helmet mark on the ricasso, the upper half on the outside with elaborate decorative etching depicting a crowned lion coat of arms and banderole “POUR LE ROI ET LA PATRIE”. Gilt, laurel-decorated knuckle-bow hilt of non-ferrous metal (rubbed) with two additional guard bows, synthetic grip and wire wrap. Signs of wear and age.
