Description

Slightly curved, nickel-plated, single-edged blade (partially stained), lavishly etched on both sides (“Republica Argentinia”), with maker's mark “E & L. Buenos Aires - Solingen” at the ricasso. Ornate steel basket hilt (rusty) with meander bands and state coat of arms, hilt with nickel silver wire winding. Nickel-plated steel scabbard (abraded, traces of rust), with a fixed suspension ring. Signs of age and wear. Length 97 cm. Rare.
