Description

Large bronze medal commemorating the Polish military scholar and artist Colonel Bronislaw Gembarzewski (1872 - 1941), diameter 70 mm. Silver medal with the portrait of Edward Rydz-Śmigły and year “1938”. Three silver Soviet medals as service awards (15 and 20 years) and a bronze medal for the 30th anniversary of the Red Army (1918 - 1948). A red enamelled shield as an excellence award of the Soviet army. Together with a new Finnish cross of burnished iron with year “1918”. Mostly on ribbon. Signs of age and wear.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
