Description

Round, conical barrel with smooth bore in calibre 17.5 mm. Flintlock with slightly weak main spring. Reworked walnut full-stock with brass furniture, the side plate bar with a crack, a small crack in front of the lock plate. Length 43 cm. Due to the rather thin barrel walls this is considered to be a Model 1798 rather than a Model 1808. Cf. J. Schuy: Einschüssige Faustfeuerwaffen der österreichischen Streitkräfte, p. 62 ff.
