Description
Cal. 11x50R Werndl M73, SN. 9593A, matching numbers. Barrel length 61 cm, the bore strongly pitted. Receiver marked “OE/WG”, on the breech end of the barrel acceptance mark “Wn 75 - G.a.”, on the lockplate “875” (=1875). Bluing worn, polished and spotted. Stepped tangent rear sight graduated 6 - 14. Front sight missing. Walnut stock with signs of wear and age, trigger guard with hand rest, buttplate with unit markings “R. 91. / 120”, cleaning rod missing.
