Frame in the area of the safety lever marked “RUST” with upward-pointing arrow. The usual brass plate with unit markings on the left side of the frame missing. No lug for shoulder stock. Nickel-plated crimped magazine with wooden bottom, unnumbered. A rare, original magazine of this contract, the original “quick-release” mechanism for removing the base having been removed and replaced by a pinned base. In 1928 the Dutch purchased 3800 additional pistols for the Colonial Army from Berlin-Karlsruher Industriewerke AG in Berlin, the successor to DWM. Rare!
