Cal. .38Special, SN. V25640, matching numbers. Barrel length 4", bright bore. Six shots. Brit. proof marks. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel, S&W logo faintly visible on the right of the sideplate and marked “53/FTR” (= British mark for an arsenal refinish). Mechanics need to be inspected, as the hammer cannot be cocked. Dark brown walnut grips. Lanyard ring. Belt holster of light brown leather, the front embossed “US” in an oval.
