Description

Cal. .577Snider, SN. 283, barrel length 78 cm, frosted, rifled bore. Snider breech block, pattern Mk. III, the block marked "SNIDER / PATENT". Various acceptance marks on action and barrel. Rear sights graduated 5 to 11. The lockplate marked crown/"P.J.MALHERBE & Cie / A LIEGE". The barrel polished, a bit spotted, to the right a bayonet mount. Full-stock with brass fittings, except barrel bands. Sling swivels, cleaning rod. Length 125 cm.
