Description

Octagonal-to-round barrel, rifled bore with four lands and grooves, calibre 17.7 mm. Several markings in the chamber area, amongst which year of make "1854". The lockplate inscribed “Mre Impale de Châtellerault”. Percussion lock, the hammer screw a replacement. Walnut half-stock with brass furniture. Small chip at the nose. Iron ramrod. Length 35 cm.
