Description

Round barrel with smooth bore in 18 mm calibre. Barrel length 20 cm. Marked "An II" above the chamber. The top tang illegibly engraved (probably M an 9). The lock plate indistinctly marked with place of manufacture. Flintlock with strong main spring. The iron surfaces with some pitting. Walnut full-stock with brass furniture and iron reinforcing band. Butt cap stamped with unit mark "G No 8". The wood beneath the lock plate professionally renewed. Ramrod missing. Length 35.5 cm.
