Cal. .38Special, SN. V457850, matching numbers. Barrel length 4", the bore a bit frosted in places. Six shots. English proof marks. On the right side of the frame Smith & Wesson company logo and marking “FTR”. Left side of frame with Frankonia importer's mark. The entire gun refinished (see above FTR-mark = Factory Thorough Repair). Hammer and trigger colour case hardened. Walnut grips with checkering. Lanyard ring. Most likely a former Lend-Lease gun from Great Britain.335906
