Cal. .380RF, SN. 3569 , matching numbers. Round barrel, length 3½“, frosted bore. Five shots, the caliber converted to .38 rimfire. Maker's name on barrel barely legible, the lower left of the frame marked with patents of 1871 and 1872, on the lower left rear of the trigger guard ”36 Cal“. Shortened brass front sight. Faint roll engraving on cylinder. Trigger guard and grip straps of brass.
