Description
Cal. 7,65mmLuger, SN. 8604 u, assembled by DWM from left-over parts, mostly matching, the firing pin "21", no serial numbers on barrel, barrel extension, toggle link, grips and magazine. Barrel length 98 mm, bright bore. Eight shots. Proof marks Crown/“N” on the barrel extension only. “DWM” logo on the forward toggle link. U-notch rear sight, dove-tailed front sight blade. The original finish with only minimal signs of wear; only the breechblock has been reblued, possibly replaced. Walnut grips with fine checkering in excellent condition. Blued crimped magazine with wooden base. After the end of WW1 DWM was renamed Berlin-Karlsruher-Industriewerke, and under the terms of the Treaty of Versailles was permitted to manufacture weapons for the civilian market and for export only. Remaining parts from wartime production were used in this process, which is why it is quite normal for some parts to bear no serial numbers or differing ones. These transitional models are quite rare!WBK: Attention - For this gun we will need to obtain an export license for you, based on your import permit (if needed in your country) or through your firearms dealer - more info here
