Description

Cal. .44-40WCF, SN. 1616, octagonal barrel, length 20", frosted bore. Full-length tubular magazine. Made in 1892. The top tang marked “Model 1892 / Winchester”. Brass carrier. Steel buttplate. The moving ramp of the rear sight missing. All metal parts refinished and reblued, with some surface corrosion. The condition can be significantly improved with careful cleaning. Length 98 cm.
