Description

Cal. .38-40WCF, SN. 598017B, octagonal barrel, length 24", the bore a matte and a bit frosted. On top two-line maker's mark with patents to 1860. Manufactured in 1905. German silver front sight. Full-length tubular magazine with two dents. Brass carrier with caliber marking. On the top tang model designation and two openings, most likely to mount a peep sight. Original bluing, some edge wear, partially spotted. Dark brown, two-part walnut stock, steel buttplate. Lower toe of butt slightly damaged from improper handling. Length 110 cm.
