Cal. .44-40WCF, SN. 51018, octagonal barrel, length 24", the bore a bit frosted. Half-length tubular magazine. The Barrel with standard markings. Brass carrier without caliber designation. The top tang marked “Model 1873”. English proof marks. Made in 1897. Two-piece dark walnut stock with distinct signs of use. Iron curved buttplate with trapdoor for cleaning rod. The entire gun reworked and refinished. Length 110 cm.
