Description
Cal. .300Savage, SN. AS0073, barrel length 22", bright bore. Barrel with maker's marks and calibre. German proof marks 1998. Mid-stock magazine for four rounds. Iron sights; the receiver is pre-drilled for mounting a scope. Nickel-plated receiver with elaborate engravings and 24K gold inlays in the deer and Puma depictions. Luxurious stock of hand-checkered American walnut with Monte Carlo comb, gold-plated trigger and safety, rubber recoil pad. Rifle length 107 cm. In a custom-made wooden presentation case lined with green velvet, dimensions 121 cm × 29 cm × 12 cm. A brass plaque on the lid with the Centennial Edition marking. Includes manual and History of the Savage Mod. 99C. The presentation case is in near-mint condition apart from a 20 cm scratch on the lid.
