Description

Octagonal damascus barrel with arabesques inlaid in gold over breech and muzzle, rifled, in 14 mm calibre, with rear sight and front sight. Florally gold-damascened miquelet lock (cocking lever on cock missing), dated “1277” (=1871) on the underside of the frizzen spring. Later wooden stock with bone nose and some silver wire inlays, ramrod and pommel cap in brass. Length 57 cm.
