Description

Hunting hanger with a sturdy, double-fullered backedge blade and double-edged central point. Large decorative etchings at the base, partly worn, each side with three etched crowns above. Blade somewhat spotted and nicked. Brass vessel with traces of original gilding and finely relief-decorated guard plate on the underside, the ends of the knuckle bow worked as lion heads. Checkered grip of black-stained wood, slightly cracked. Length 75.5 cm.
