Description
Slightly curved single-edged blade with a long double-edged head. Simple fuller on both sides, double at the base. The blade's back at the base with cut notch decoration, struck cross mark on both sides. Widely projecting octagonal crossguard with a short single-sided guard plate. Riveted wooden scales with iron decorative rosettes on both sides. Sturdy iron bird-head hilt. Length 125 cm. Fine handcrafted replica of this rarely preserved Landsknecht weapon type.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
