Description

Slender thrusting blade of triangular section. The root with a finely etched decorative band bearing the maker's monogram “SHF”. Gilt, solid silver guard. Symmetrical guard plate, the upper side lavishly set with diamond-cut decorative studs, the interspaces with engraved and chiselled decor. Guard, grip and pommel likewise with fine mounts of diamond-cut decorative studs. French silver hallmarks. Length 101.5 cm.
