Description

Double-edged blade with flattened central ridge, the root struck on both sides with a brass-lined brand “ROMA”. Silver guard, the fine openwork guard plate with floral and lattice decor. Crossguard, knuckle-bow and pommel with figural decor in relief on a chiselled ground. Later(?) grip with brass wire winding. Wooden scabbard covered in black leather with supplemented mountings, old repair in the lower third. Length 99 cm.
