Description

Slender thrusting blade of flattened diamond section. Deep fullers on both sides of the forte, struck with the maker's mark “CLEMENS COLL IHN SOLINGEN”. Iron cup with outward-flanged reinforcing rim. On the inside a small, openwork Guarde de Polvo with floral decor. Widely projecting round crossguard with cut finials and knuckle bow. Replacement grip with iron collars, the wire winding absent. Round, flat pommel with offset riveted button. Length 116 cm.
