Description

Heavy back blade with fullers on both sides and double-edged head. A sawtooth mark struck on the obverse along with a further indistinct brand. Blade probably not originally associated. Iron knuckle-bow hilt with thumb ring, a relief-decorated guard plate of sheet iron inserted on the obverse. Grip with original iron wire wrap and one preserved Turk's head. Pear-shaped pommel with inserted bows. Length 92 cm.
