Description

Sturdy, tapering blade of diamond section, the surfaces pitted. Iron knuckle-bow hilt with thumb ring, the large guard ring on the obverse with a strongly domed pierced shell guard. Finely notched floral decor on the obverse. Grip with elaborate wrap of iron and copper wire, Turk's heads in brass. Flat pommel with notched decor on both sides and laterally screwed knuckle bow. Original leather-covered wooden scabbard with iron chape. Length 112.5 cm.
