Description
Heavy skull forged in one piece, possibly of earlier date, with a flat comb. Iron plume socket riveted at the neck. Pivoted peak tapering to a point with a turned border. Pivoted ridged visor plate with separate sight slits and lozenge-shaped breathing holes. Spring-loaded locking mechanism at the side. Pivoted bevor with a spring-loaded locking bolt. Riveted collar plates with a turned and roped border. The gorget with surface rust along the lower border. Height 33 cm.354558
