Description

The metacarpi sliding on five lames with a prominently ridged and roped knuckle guard. Fully preserved finger scales on original leather covering. The ridged thumb plates attached on the sides opening on a hinge, each with six finger scales. Round, two-piece cuffs with offset knuckle bosses, reciprocal iron clasps with original belts, one incomplete. Recessed border strips with roped flanges. Continuous lining rivets with original leather covering. Light pitting on some surfaces. Length of each circa 31.5 cm.
