Hira zukuri blade. Hamon and hada not discernible due to polish condition. Silver-plated copper habaki. Nakago with one mekugi-ana, mumei. Tsuka with defective black binding over same. Fuchi/kashira in bronze, non-matching. Bronze menuki butterfly-shaped. Black-lacquered saya with fine floral decor in gold lacquer, relief bronze fittings. Bronze kotsuka with applied gilt mon. Blade length 22.4 cm, overall length 35.5 cm.
