Description

Hira zukuri blade with narrow bo-hi on both sides. Itame mokume hada, choji midare hamon, two-part habaki in shakudo and silver. Nakago with two mekugi-ana, mumei. Iron mokko tsubas with partially gilt silver inlays. Tsuka with light silk wrapping over same. Fuchi/Kashira in shakudo with fine gold inlays. Gilt habaki shaped as three mons. Kotsuka missing. Red-lacquered saya with mounting in dark horn. Includes wooden shirasaya with placeholder blade. Blade length K/M 27.8 cm, overall length 47.5 cm.
