Description

Slightly curved, somewhat stained back-edged blade with a pronounced ricasso and a typically tapering head. The ornamentally carved hardwood grip with rattan-wrapped handle and inserted tufts of artificial hair(?), showing slight shrinkage cracks. Wooden scabbard with lavish engraved and plaited decor, faced with bone at the mouth and tip, on the reverse a bag of plant fibres (the accompanying small knife is missing). Length 66 cm.
