Description

Slightly curved blade of wootz-Damascus steel with reinforced edges and multiple fine fullers on both sides. Iron ferrule at the shoulder with stylized elephant heads to the sides. Later hilt of tiger tooth carved in relief with deity figures, the side guard formed as two intertwined serpents. Wooden scabbard covered with ray skin and overlaid with florally pierced brass sheet. Length 29 cm.
