Description

Curved back-edged blade forged in finely figured wooz damascus steel. Two brass-inlaid calligraphic cartouches on the obverse, including an indistinct date. Partially stained, head slightly pitted. Iron crossguard with cut hunting decor. Scales of dark and light horn with iron grip bands. Later leather-covered wooden scabbard with iron chape, locket missing, repair and loss to the leather. Attached leather straps for suspension. Length 95.5 cm.
