Description

Blade of fine wootz-Damascus with a cut back edge. Hilt of crystalline walrus ivory with finely engraved, rich gold inlays in the form of floral tendrils and birds. Later pommel cap of engraved and gilt brass set with numerous garnet, emerald and rock crystal cabochons. Velvet-covered wooden scabbard with brass mountings finely engraved en suite with the pommel cap. Length 36.5 cm.
