Description

Strongly curved double-edged blade with notched decor on both sides at the base. Horn hilt with silver filigree mounts, on the obverse a set coral cabochon, on the reverse two arabic silver coins. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with filigree-decorated silver fittings. Leather-lined carrying belt with colourfully embroidered decor. Length of the Djambya 52 cm, length of the belt circa 92 cm.
